Puppies Likes Muffins Too

Imani and DJ, make sure you don’t let the puppies out, and don’t give them any of your food.

"I know… puppies their always begging for food, and Dallas and Meko aren’t any different, just don’t give them any food, they have their own puppy food and puppy snacks."

"But Granny...They don’t like their food!!

"First of all Imani…Dallas is only four months old and just because he’s a big puppy for his age, that doesn’t mean he can eat your food or mine. It’s not good for his stomach, and Meko’s he’s 4 yrs. old and he knows better, but he’ll try to get your food anyway, plus puppies need to stick to their diets. If we start off feeding them regular table food then after a while when they gets to be an even bigger puppy, and meko a older adult they’ll expect us to give them table food all the time and they may even try to steal it off the table or even snatch it out of our hands. Now that Dallas has joined the family, if he gets away with it then Meko will think he can too. Knowing he knows better… so that’s why I’m telling you both do not... give them any of you guys food."

“O’K then... Remember what I said, I have to run up the street to the store and pick up some cranberries and walnuts for my muffins. I’m going to be serving muffins and coffee at the ladies hat club tomorrow, and I don’t want them getting into anything in the kitchen because I already have a dozen in a half muffins, done sitting out on the kitchen table cover in wax paper.I should be back in 10 to 15 minutes. Watch Dallas and Meko and don’t let them get into any trouble while I’m gone and keep them… out of the kitchen."

"Also...open up the back sliding door in the den and they’ll go in the back yard and you won’t have to worry about them in the house, their food and water is out there. Then you both can continue playing with your play station, I’ll be back in a few."
